The Subcutaneous Insulin Administration Procedure is designed to support SA regional hospitals and aged care. Blood glucose variability can be improved with improved insulin administration technique and this podcast describes the procedure and where improvements can be made. The Procedure also provides guidance on management of high risk medicines such as insulin to reduce insulin medication errors.
